The work is highly skilled and varies on a daily basis due to the large varietys of tent we manufacture, plus the special builds and bespoke canvas work we do. One day you could be working on a yurt canvas and the next on a garden tent for a celebrity designer, and on the next a period tent for a major film production.

Training will be given to the right applicants,

The sewing machinist work involves cutting and sewing canvas, eyeleting and other general duties.

You will need the ability to read and understand patterns and drawings. Good accurate measuring skills in metric and an understanding of imperial measurements would be an advantage.

The work requires you to work within a highly motivated but friendly team, working quickly and accurately to deadlines.   

There are excelent rates of pay, good holiday allowance and a pleasant and comfortable working environment with a fully equiped staff kitchen and rest room.

We run a two day work trial programme after initial interview, to assess your abilities and for you to decide whether you would enjoy working with us.
