Nearly every yurt we sell goes out with a heavy duty walled groundsheet.

Each one is hand welded and not sewn so there are no leaks. They have an integral 150mm wall all round with a gap for the door and have a drawcord to help hold the wall snug to your trellis.

The fitted walled groundsheet means the frame never touches the ground so it is protected from damp and rot, and the wall keeps all but the very worst flood out of your yurt. Plus when combined with our covers it works as a draft excluder and tie-in point for the canvas walls, increasing the strength and weather proof qualities of the entire yurt.

The PVC is a super strong 590gsm polyester based fabric, designed to give years of service and can easily be repaired at our workshop, or in emergencies using a cycle puncture repair kit.

We make groundsheets for all our standard sized yurts and we can make one to your specification.
