I had a brain wave the other day when camping out in my Festy tent, and came up with this neat little addition to the Festy tent.
The wind had whipped round about 120 degrees and was now blowing in through the front door while I was trying to brew up on my Kelly Kettle and blowing the smoke straight in the door. I was just thinking that I could do with some kind of windbreak when I realised that half of what was needed was already holding up the porch of the Festy.
So this week I ran up the prototype door protector. It simply slides onto the porch poles and ties into the canvas with one extra peg at the base. It covers the side and the front if you want it to, and can be used left or right handed.
Picture 1 shows the Festy with the windbreak attached to one side and draped back over the guy to the porch.
Picture 2 shows it fully fitted, protecting the front of the doorway.
