The No 30 sizes up to an impressive 9 metre (30ft) diameter and height of 3.6 metres (12ft), but a 4 man team can erect it in around two hours.
As with all the yurts the No 30 can be adapted to suit your needs. The standard frame has a 1.35m wall with curved roof ribs and a 1.98m wheel. The wall height can be increased to give more headroom and consequently a higher door clearance. Door widths can be increased to improve traffic flow, and there is a variety of extra door positions possible.
The first photo shows a high trellis yurt with Olive green canvas cover. It has a wide main door and two standard width rear doors.
The second photo is of the interior of a Mongolian Ger style with crimson serge roof liner and side fitted woodburner. The central support poles are not usually necessary but are useful in heavy weather or high snowfall.
The third photo is of a 30ft Mongolian style yurt with super high walls, solid oak twin doors and painted details, produced for Rohan the outdoor clothing company.
There are so many variations on the large yurts, and I have yet to make two the same so please contact me for a quote if you are interested.
