Pronounced 'oooled nile', or ‘the old nail’’ as it has affectionately come to be known, is based on a traditional Algerian tribal tent.
I was originally asked to produce Bedouin style tents, but found the flat roofs of these tents were likely to collect rain in our British climate, so with a little more research I found this similar tent, from a tribe that live close to the mountains in Northern Algeria. This area receives more rainfall than the Sahara, so the tents are built to accomodate that with a sloping roof. Yes it does rain in the Sahara, every time I have been it has rained - just proving I

Once inside you are quickly transported to North Africa, and with a charcoal burner going, some traditional lamps lit and the smell of coffee drifting through the tent, you could easily forget you have only gone as far as the end of the garden!
A monstrous 7.3m wide x 4.9m deep and 2m high (24ft x 16ft x 6ft 6). Price includes all poles, pegs and storage bag.
